About Little Cove
Little Cove is the area between Noosa main beach and the world famous Noosa National Park. There's a glorious boardwalk (of about 800 metres and a 10 minute walk) around the headlands to the entrance of the park which is filled with magnificent trails of rainforest, coastal and wallum walks. This is a large national park and you'll find local's going for their morning run or walk, many holiday makers taking pictures of our koala population and everyone smiling. There are some renowned surf breaks here too. And plenty of room for everyone. The rare natural beauty of Noosa and its surrounds has been recognized by UNESCO as an official Biosphere Reserve. We are treasuring our environmental heritage and nowhere is more evident and loved than Little Cove. In winter we often spot whales migrating north and a few months later they return with their calves. They often put on a fantastic show. Don't forget to bring your walking shoes to enjoy walking the many tracks and walks on offer. You can walk for hours so if you do – a water bottle and sunscreen is mandatory. There are very picturesque, unspoilt coves as well as beaches and it's a wonderful area for families and couples. It's an easy walk to the cafes, restaurants and boutiques in Hastings Street. So – if you like a bit of action or nightlife you can head there. And if you fancy a relaxed time in unspoilt surrounds: the choice is yours. |
