4 Activities To Enjoy When Visiting Noosa

Noosa is one of the best places on the east coast of Australia to relax and refresh. Accommodation in Noosa is first class and luxurious, the people are friendly, and you will not be bored. Noosa accommodation options are quite varied, with some places not only offering a comfortable bed but are also a gateway to an exciting array of activities in the area. Though if you find yourself wondering what to do in this beautiful part of Queensland, try one of the following four options, they will help make your stay in Noosa one of your best holidays ever.

Do Some Surfing

If you don't know how to surf yet, why not? This is your chance to ride some of Queensland's best waves, so make your first stop one of the great surf schools - you don't want to miss out on the fun. Once you have your skills finely tuned, head out to one of the many amazing surf beaches in and around Noosa. First Point Beach is the way to go for beginners, though if you're looking for a bit of a bigger challenge, try Tea Tree Beach or Granite Bay Beach for some sublime sets. If you'd rather just watch some great surfing action, be sure to drop in on the Noosa Festival of Surfing, usually held in March, and watch the long board legends tear it up.

Hit The Course

If you like having a hit once in a while, be sure to squeeze in a round while you are in Noosa. You can choose from the spectacular Noosa Springs Golf Course, the world class Hyatt Regency Coolum - home of the Australian PGA, Noosa-Tewantin Golf Course or Noosa Par 3.

Take in The Culture

For a small place, Noosa really does pack a cultural punch, showcases amazing jewellery, sculpture, artefacts and live theatre. The Noosa Arts Theatre is a must see and has been the home of amazing local amateur theater for more than 40 years. The Young Master's Gallery is also a worthy visit, and if you are interested in educating yourself on the original people of Noosa, the Gubbi Gubbi people, be sure to stop in at the Noosa Museum.

Explore The Markets

Now that you are in Noosa, you are extremely close to one of the best markets in Australia, the Eumundi Markets. Eumundi is a cute town located 20km west of Noosa and puts on an incredible market every Wednesday and Saturday. Embracing a multitude of treasures, you will find everything for your home, health, house and garden as well as great local fashion, tasty treats, creative art and all the fruit and veggies you could want. Eumundi is very close to Noosa, don't pass up this little hidden gem. You will not run out of things to do when visiting Noosa. Whether you stay within the town or venture out, you will be spoiled with fun and unique opportunities. These four ideas are just the tip of the iceberg, so maybe think about extending your stay in Noosa and taking a closer look at the possibilities.
