Noosa Jazz Party - 23 August to 3 September 2017
More than 30 of Australia's top jazz musicians perform in Noosa for the Noosa Jazz Party at venues including a theatre, clubs, restaurants, river cruises and in the park.
Other venues around Noosa include the popular dining series at participating restaurants and the free Sunday Concert in the Lions Park Noosaville (next to Yacht Club)
Floating Land: Lost & Found - 8 September to 15 October 2017
Floating Land explores environmental themes while creating and exhibiting temporary artworks in the Noosa region's outdoor natural settings.
In these virtual times where our connection with the environment is increasingly through a digital realm, Floating Land: Lost & Found invites the audience to reconnect with the authenticity of nature through art.
The program will feature at least 10 creative works to be installed primarily along the Noosa River foreshore from 16 September to 2 October 2017; Artcycle, using recycled and reused materials; installations showing the connection between practising artists, the community and the artworks in the unique environment at Boreen Point on the shores of Lake Cootharaba; Digital Art Trail, guiding visitors along the sculptural exhibition
Noosa Surf Film Festival - 6 to 7 October 2017
The Noosa Surf Film Festival celebrates surf culture and creative talents in the surf industry - submissions are now open for the third annual festival.
Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their films that explore any aspect of surfing through documentary, narrative, animation or anything in between. Submissions of short films to feature length will be accepted until 20 August 2017.
Last year's event showcased films from 13 countries, and this year it promises to deliver a jam-packed program of music, art, photography and film.
Noosa Beach Classic Car Show - 1 October 2017
Noosa Beach Classic Car Club hold their 29th annual Classic Car Show on the Sunday of the October long weekend holiday in the heart of Noosa. The event is open to many makes and models, and the marque of the year is Holden.
Wander through more than $10 million in cars on display with a backdrop of the Noosa waterways and vibrant Hastings Street. See more than 260 cars of all ages and makes on display.
See a spectacular display of Jaguar vehicles, British and European classics and sports cars, American and Australian iron and muscle cars, rare cars, Asian sports cars, classic competition cars and Aussie family favorites, including entries from the Bowden Collection.
Food and coffee vendors will be onsite and Zed28 Rockabilly Band will entertain during the day.
The Noosa Beach Classic Car Show gala evening will be held at Noosa Heads Surf Club on Friday 29 September from 6pm.
